The sound of water echoed in the dimly lit bathroom as a man sat under the shower. His head rested against the cool tiles, eyes closed, while water cascaded over him. Droplets flowed from his head, down his sharp jawline, trailing across his toned chest, and disappearing along his body. A long time had passed, yet his thoughts circled relentlessly. He couldn’t escape the image of those green eyes—they haunted him, captivated him, and drove him to madness.
Aashvik's POV
It has been so long, yet those green eyes still have a hold on me. They haunt my mind, consume my thoughts, and fuel this fire inside me. I’ll make her mine, no matter what. People call me crazy, and maybe I am... crazy for her. I know I’ll go insane without her.
Her eyes—they tell a story, one of innocence and purity. And her small, delicate figure... my hands ache to hold her, to wrap her in my arms, to claim her as mine. But I have to control myself. For now. This plan I’ve crafted—it must work, and I will do anything to ensure that it does.
Why does she have this effect on me? She doesn’t even know how much power she has over me, but I’ll show her soon enough. She draws me in like no one ever has. A smirk plays on my lips as I think about what’s to come. She will be mine—no one else’s.
Author's POV
Aashvik stepped out of the shower, droplets still clinging to his broad shoulders as he wrapped a towel around his waist. The smirk remained on his lips as he got dressed, every move precise and calculated. His sharp suit hugged his frame, a perfect blend of power and control.
By the time he reached the dining table, he was no longer just a man—he was Aashvik Singh Rajput, a mafia king feared by many. But no matter how much power he wielded, he never forgot to give time to his family.
As he entered the dining area, he greeted everyone with a calm yet authoritative voice.
"Good morning, everyone," his tone was firm but carried a warmth reserved for his family.
"Good morning... uh, too," everyone responded, their faces lighting up with shy, bashful smiles.
His smile, however, faded as he noticed the knowing glints in the eyes of his two siblings. They were both raising their eyebrows at him with a mischievous glint. Confusion flickered in his eyes, and, unable to let it slide, he decided to confront them.
"What do you both want now?" he asked, his voice firm, laced with curiosity and a touch of exasperation.
"Nothing," they replied, their grins widening, clearly enjoying the moment.
He shook his head, trying to suppress a smile, but his amusement quickly vanished when he heard his grandfather’s voice slice through the air with its usual cold edge.
"You are getting married after your sister," his grandfather stated, his tone as biting and matter-of-fact as always.
